you are right, i deploy the application by copying the exe and the necessary dll/ocx over to a network location where all users have access to. now i also find out if the ocx is placed in the same folder as the exe, then there is no need to register the ocx by the installer automatically or by somebody manually, which is a good thing.

Sergey was relating installation of MSCAL to an InstallShield setup. It seems you are manually installing the runtime.
