I agree with the enhancement request... but the workaround isn't actually too complicated. At least, I think so - I haven't tried it...
Removing the page is simple.
Instead of adding the page and then adding dozens of controls, have all your controls in a container, and add the container. Thus, you would require only a few commands to add the page, and then add the container to the page.
