We installed our VFP 8 app on a Cray computer and found it to be much faster then the 2.6 DOS version we had on an 8088 computer.
This is not to make fun of you Kevin. I'm not sure how long this thread will go on but if we continue this apples and oranges comparison look-alike thread I'm sure that it'll go nowhere like many threads that involved JVP recently.
At this point it looks like total lost of bandwith more than anything else.
