Four photos head, four photos hair piece and image control and switch images. SnagIt can make portions of GIF images transparent.

You might automate Adobe PhotoShop:
oPhotoShop=('PhotoShop.Application')

I could not figure out how to instanciate MS Photo Editor - but that may be an option!
