.NET currently is no match for VFP when it comes to handling data.

If all you do is let the SQL server do the work and don't have to use data munging routines locally, do not care about databinding that much, not having highperformance routines that use locally stored data to drive your framework, yes, you are not missing anything in .NET in regards to data.

The fact is that the .NET team has acknowledged the weak spot of .NET in regards to handling data and are working to improve that. What it means is that .NET will handle data better in the future, but that currently is no match for VFP.

So far the attempt to debunk VFPs data munging capalities as a myth.
