Thanks fot the info on this problem. I have messed around with recording the macros to see what VBA code is generated, but I still have the problem of converting this code syntax to VFP. The example you have given me returns a syntax error when I try it in VFP. I replaced the name of the sheet with the name in my workbook, but I still get the same error. The main issue is, the range of cells is dynamic. I know the number of columns, but not rows. The rows are based on the reccount of a dbf and needs to be inserted into the Name command.
