Hi
If you use VFP6 and want a button class with special effects, I suggest you to download my Outlook style listbar. Included in class library is a button class used by the listbar object. It has 3D effects and use an intelligent timer to detect when mouse leave the control (the timer is a modified version downloaded from here). It needs to be modified to be used independently, but it gives you a start. Works with VFP6.

>i use mousemove to check if user moves mousepointer to a button, what if i want to check if user's mousepointer leaves the button? what's the counterpart of mousemove then?
