Hi Mazahir.

Just another point or two in respect of the "pearls of wisdom" thrown at you by JVP. Please appreciate that JVP has been prophesizing the death of VFP for about 7 years now during which time we have had VFP6, 7, 8, and of course the soon to be release VFP9!

Apparently the fortune telling abilities of JVP are somewhat lacking. The old saying then applies: if you cannot predict accurately then rather predict often. You will increase your chances of eventually being right :)

Announcements of the death of VFP are somewhat premature and forecasting the future of the IT business is not a little hazardous. This comment applies equally well to your interviewer.

There are many trends and changes evolving in IT and .Net is only one of several possible options available to a developer.
