I would take Bonnie's advice and post your questions on the .NET forum. The people are just like the VFP forum - in fact many are also VFP developers.

There is a learning curve associated with Dot NET. In addition you have to set up IIS and install the framework, while placing your project under the Inetpub\wwwroot folder.

Amazon.com has over 3600 books on Dot NET for sale. I have not truely found a "good book", that is one book that will answer major questions. Having a few books is important and understanding the framework is most important.
