>Recently I've seen many threads regarding how to make a command button behave with mouseover events, different backcolor etc. There are many great solutions on this forum and in MS site such as building container class with a timer, picture, and possible some text, but building these "command buttons" can become extremely tedious depending on operations desired. Does anyone know if Tahoe will have a base class to handle button behaviors like mentioned above?

You mean like "Outlook" style trees and Office97 style buttons? As to the buttons, I use "Geppetto's Hammer", an ActiveX control available at www.activex.com .. it includes an "ActiveButton" control which is really neat.
