The condition to make GDIPLUS.DLL available exists not only for Win98 but also I think for NT (possibly even 2K, not sure, you may need to assure an updated version).

But this condition did not originate with VFP 9. VFP 8 requires GDIPLUS.DLL too, just does not use it as extensively.
