What you're seeing is normal. You don't have to manually start it as it will start when accessed by the application using it.


>Well... maybe I mis-stated the problem. If you go to component services ( in win 2k server) the little COM+ icon rotates when the service is enabled. When I reboot the server the icon is static untill I right click and enable the service. Then it starts to rotate. I assumed that the rotating icon indicates that the COM+ service is enabled.
