Actually the application works just fine. I was just hung up on the rotating icon thing.
Now I understand that the icon will start to rotate as my asp.net application calls the mtdll contained in the COM+ service. I did not know this. Thank you for helping

When I reboot the server the icon is static untill I right click and enable the service. Then it starts to rotate. I assumed that the rotating icon indicates that the COM+ service is enabled.
