We were discussing my opinions about the type of senate candidate I would vote for. The winner of the senate seat is based on a purely democratic majority wins outcome.
That our system of government on the whole does not fit your defintion of democracy has no relevance on whether or not we democracticly elect senators.

Its a complete non-sequiter. We were discussing electing senators, which is entirely democratic. Attacking the claim "its called democracy" based on the fact there are other less democratic aspects of the government is a total strawman.
You change the subject completely from post to post and you still can't find a winning argument.
