Title:
What to do when error 1466 - Connection Handle is invalid
Is there any way to recover from Error: 1466 Connection Handle Invalid when using a remote cursor generated by using the remote view set-up and ODBC to handle data from an SQL 2000 database back-end?
For example: Having successfully opened and 'used' a cursor without any issues, what can one do if in trying to close it you get this error message? VFP will not allow the view to be closed nomatter what I try short of crashing VFP. Is there any particular thing to avoid or any way to avoid creating this error when using remote views? /psb
