A real conundrum, that one.

The corrupt media is reporting on itself? Or maybe one corrupt media is reporting on another corrupt media... i.e. the U.S. media would likely take the position that a Commie Marxist Socialist leader is a bad thing anywhere and the Venezuelan media, having the $$$ that Chavez feels ought to be 'spread around' is trying to undo his rule.
In BOTH cases the real motives are SUSPECT.
It could even be that the real issue is that the U.S. NEEDS that oil that hasn't flowed for a while now.

I doubt that Chavez is corrupt, but rather just not playing the game as required. BUT HOW CAN WE TELL????

The media simply cannot be trusted, anywhere, at any time, any more!
