Hi bob,

I think YAG is refering to the UT discussions. At least someone from microsoft saw value in this idea.

I did discuss the issue of ´the black hole´ with YAG personally last monday. I referred to a recent thread here on the UT where some heated discussions were held whether it should be done or not. Interestingly the MVPs involved in this thread where resistant to change anything about the current situation, simular to the resistance of the UT wishlist.

Anyways, YAG confirmed the problem and he said that they were busy to solve the problem, but he could not say anything more specific until tuesday when he had a TECH-ED conference in amsterdam.

Walter,

>The new MSDN Product Feedback Center allows you to look up and post bugs and ERs, and get alerted as their status changes. We've been doing something like this with FoxPro for a few years now - and it's had an amazing effect on the responsiveness of the team to community needs.

>Where is the searchable bug database for VFP? He said a "few years" now. I wasn't aware of it. I don't see anything like the MSDN Feedback center for VFP anywhere.

>I think they should add VFP to the MSDN feedback center and import the full bug database into it. Perhaps this would fix the "black hole" syndrome serveral here have talked about. We know VFP team traks bugs, we assume the comment on them and fix or provide workaround or close them... but, to have this available to VFP users like they seem to have done for VS 2005 would be excellent.
