Is there a way to copy tables which are used by an application!

We are running a multiuser system developed in VFP7, I have created a small backup module to archive our data.

Everything works fine; but when copying tables which are opened by Application instaces run by me on my computer; it gives "File in use" error.

Is there a work-around?

I want to give backup/archive option within the application it self; and should be able to backup even open Foxpro tables.

Pl help!
