We are an Accountmate and Accpac reseller. I have had a good bit of experience with both products. There are pros and cons to both. Accountmate reflects a complete OOP design but you do not get access to the base classes, my main reservation is with their product is support. It is simply awful. Often times a bug will be know by the support and development staff but never posted on a web site or conveyed to the resellers. The only way to know if a bug exists is to experience it report it and then you will be provided the patch.

Although Accpac ProSeries is a little behind the curve with OOP you do get all of the classes and their technical reference is about 1000 pages long. Their support is world class compared to Accountmate. They distribute technical reference emails on a timely bases provide program patches on their web site and have a user forum. The ProSeries product has come a long way since the purchase by Accpac, with each release the product is getting closer to a true OOP application.
