Why two instances? Stupid question! :)

>Here is what happens when the program runs for a few days:
>I can hear the hard drive running as though it is constantly reading and writing. The program can take a few minutes to response to keystrokes or mouse clicks. Sometimes the mouse pointer does not appear when I move it across the screen as though it is invisible. The Windows swap file swells from 4 Meg to 16 Meg. Sometimes I have to have "End Task" (Ctrl+Alt+Del), to stop the program.

This doesn't point at all to Lotus API. There were some threads discussing this problem 2-3 months ago. I don't remember a solution, but maybe you'll find something doing some research in the archive.
