>in .Net that would be a weird beast because Customer.Phone should be either Object.Member or Class.StaticMember. In order to achieve something similar to VFP's cursor, a Typed-DataSet would have to be used.
I'ld hope for something with less overhead, perhaps similar to a DataRow...

I don't understand why MS didn't at least implement the same query
technology used against "other datasources" to DataSets.
Makes the app development more complicated than necessary IMHO.
