http://68.100.8.2:8080/ will stay there since www.activevfp.com is forwarding to that address. I could have used the optional Masking feature which hides the real URL and just shows www.activevfp.com for all pages, but, I chose not to. I had to go with Web Forwarding since my ISP (COX Cable) is blocking Port 80(standard HTTP port). Using the Web Forwarding service, a web user can type in www.activevfp.com instead of www.activevfp.com:8080.
So, the total cost for internet service and hosting a local interactive Web Site running on ActiveVFP is just $39.95/mo with COX cable. Not bad - I was paying twice this with COVAD DSL at half the speed...

>>You may want to refresh your browser or clear the cache to get the right page. My old DNS Server information may be still be in some DNS servers that haven't been updated yet today.
>>It's $12/yr from Network Solutions just for Web Forwarding. However, I just found a much cheaper site - http://www.domaintransfer.us/ - that only charges $8.88/yr for domain registration(Network Solutions is $30/yr) and includes Web Forwarding for free! I'll probably go with something like that when my domains expire...

>>>>http://www.activevfp.com works now. For those interested in how I set it up: I signed up for Web Forwarding from Netsol so that all www.activevfp.com requests go to the currentIP:8080 . Not bad and only costs $12 or so a year. My Win2000 DNS Server will likely be retired now since it's no longer needed...
