Check the setup of your e-mail program. In Netscape, choose Edit/Preferences/Mail & Groups/Messages. Then you can set your preference as to a message in your in-box, in a folder or not at all.

Eudora and other 'freeware' e-mail programs do not support attached files. If you send one it will be ignored.
