In Combo Box I need following events to get called

My Requirments :
1) Want to create an Object whenever the combo box drills down
2) Want to destroy the Object whenever the combo box drills up

I have created an object by writing my code into dropButtonclick Event

Or I can write it by dropdown() event

but I want the object to destroy where should I write it..?
