VFP9 Beta has a problem with filters, they are being ignored, Garrett has reported this to MS.

We have a similar problem with our app in DE of form using !alias.fieldname causes error, whereas =!alias.fieldname works.
I am having trouble creating repo code to send to MS, rather than sending the whole app. You may have found it, log it as a bug, and see what they say.
