It is simple, just Create label (new) using command window or Project manager and when the label designer appear go to File -> Page setup and set the column to 3 (as you need). You can also change the Printer Order that how your lable will print or display. It is similar to report designer.
Drage the fileds into designer and play around it to get the correct position for printout.
You can use label wizard also to do the same.
