>>If I want to put some valuable information in the 'user' memo field of a SCX file, do I have any access to it when the form is running? The SCX file is openend by VFP, but I don't know how to access it. I thought at the Load event, but is not of any use.

I had my help text in scx, comment before, and I had to move it into the user field, because a property can't keep a string longer than 255 bytes - it simply won't compile a form or class if it does. There's no other use I could find of the user field, but to keep something that may be used from some custom builder of yours or so. I think its unaccessible at runtime.
