What?

I don't know what Virtual Machine you are using, but apart from being a simulation, the VPC represents a physical machine to the software. The VPC runs an operating system in real time, I know it is simulated but it isn't "interpreting API calls in real time".

But FWIW we have tried it on a blank real PC as well with the same results.
