Yes they teamed up for MM. I have not seen MM, but think it is more geared to WinForms but can do WebForms too - I could be wrong here.
The Web Store framework is mostly just WebForms and data access and business objects and is very light weight (not a lot of overhead or wireing up needed).
Nothing against MM and I might get it when I start doing desktop .NET apps, but I wanted a light weight web app framework for .NET in C#.
