Greetings!

After two months of experimenting with MMF security, I still can't get it to work.

I've followed the documentation to the letter, but it still does not function as described.

The one documentation area that I thought might help is the "Security Setup Mode" section. This section explains how to setup control security while actually running the application. However, when I click on the "Turn Security Setup ON" file menu option:

1) No security sub-menu is created anywhere even though the documentation states it should be
2) Right clicking on forms (I'm only doing form-level security for testing purposes which is should be pretty darn simple) that have control IDs assigned does nothing

I have 3 users and 3 user groups. The metadbc, mmsecure, mmcontrls and appincl tables are all where they should be and populated correctly. The application security access is set to full access. I've tried using System Setup and Meta DBC data access...no difference.

I'm wondering if anyone has this working except for Paul and Jason?

Please offer any suggestions that might help with this as I am at my rope's end in dealing with MMF security. Thanks!
