IMO, the Data Explorer as it is is basically unusable with respect to Oracle databases. I have reported several issues that if resolved quickly, and if I can get a refresh of the Task Pane, I hope to be able to work through additional issues in time before this version is actually released in the Fall. I get the same OLE error message. There is no reason not to be able to browse a table just like you can a SQL Server table.
