>>>I need to print report, which consist of 3 independent reports (I process 3 different program), but my boss want to combine in 1 report ( I wish I could have 3 detail bands). Any ideas, how to do this in VFP 5.0a.I tried to send to ASCII file and then use automation with MS Word, but because I am using proport. fonts, ASCII files look terrible.

You can setup CR in a number of ways. We currently use the ActiveX control. In the future we will use the Automation Server. You can also call the DLL. There are a few things to keep in mind, no matter how you do it:
- Requires ODBC to access VFP tables & views
- Cannot access any VFP tables outside the DBC. This includes cursors
We run a PRG that pulls everything into cursors for reporting then COPY TO FOX2X. This way we don't need ODBC setup on every users PC.
The performance is very acceptable.
