>I realize it (IIS) is part of the XP Pro OS. I'm still wondering how to install it programmatically, though. I've looked on quite a few websites and did quite a few web searches, doesn't look like its that common of an issue. I'm surprised, I'd figure someone, somewhere would have run across this already. It would really neat if there was a way to install any Window component programmatically, not just IIS.

I've seen some gizmo that allowed you to make a script of somekind that would simulate all the necessary keystokes/mouseclicks to do something like this. I had something created with it that installed a VPN client and set it all up (since it was way to complicated for clients typical user). I don't remember what it was though - waiting for a friend to get back with me that should remember.
