As far as I know there is no way around that. You need to enter
specific printer codes. However..., you could probably create
two printer drivers - many printers can use either
the IBM or Epson driver codes - and they can try one or the other.
The files containing the generic printer driver are tty.drv and tty.hlp
and are in the Windows/system folder.
