I now see that the mouse wheel does change the combo selection if you have not moved the mouse into the dropdown list area. Once you have moved into the list then the mouse wheel has no effect and the mouseWheel event no longer fires. Kinda strange behavior. Why not allow the mouse wheel to work when the dropdown list is active?
