Walter Meester is not anti .Net. He simply extols the virtues of having a local data engine and a tightly coupled data centric language. As far as I can see, Walter's position is that until .Net gets more features of the type that he relies on in his application, and yes, from Keny Levy's posts, certain VFP data features are definately going to be ported one way or another into .Net, then he can not find sufficient reason(s) to drop his Fox development at this stage.

Why is this a "head in the sand" attitude? Seems to me he is thinking rationally and from his own business perspective. Clearly Walter does not feel the need to go with the herd just yet.
