There was a bug in VFP3 that would sometimes move/delete method code, but I've not seen it in VFP5. Is there some chance the class has been edited by hand in the .VCX directly? If you move things from where VFP expects them to be it can cause problems. You might try rebuilding the class from scratch copy and pasting code from the original to the new class.
