Hi,

Using VFP6,
In the data environment of a form I have two tables; the parent and the child with a relation setup between both. In the form when I scroll the parent table, the child recods shows in a grid. It works fine(reasonnable speed) except when I sroll to a parent record which has no child record. When I hit those records, VFP takes forever, like 30 seconds or more, to finally shows me an empty grid. The windows task manager shows the memory usage is full during all that time.

I'm starting to investigate this problem. I'm thinking about looking into different set commands. Any ideas as what I should look first?

Of course I did reindex and pack both tables just in case, no difference.

TIA
