I saw Mr. Lay today say that as CEO he was accountable for the demise of the company. He also stated that as CEO he didn't know everything that was going on and certainly did nothing criminal himself.

I always find it queer (1-man band trying to get that word back to its former meaning < s >) that company CEOs always happily accept their stock options and huge bonuses because they are responsible for the performance of the company on the stock market. Yet, it seems they don't really know what's going on?????

I guess it was really the mail boy's fault after all.
