Hi Zane

Actually, Jim's radio reference wasn't completely without merit. In a crowded city with many FM stations, I notice the signals are not as clear.

I have a linksys wrt54g router. It's the 2.4Ghz model. I also have a 2.4Ghz cordless phone. They interefere with each other.

The wireless 54 mbps theoretical maximum is half what I get on the wired jacks. In practice, I'm only getting 18 mbps wireless, until the phone rings when it drops even further.

What will happen when all the devices in the house start to clamour for bandwidth? Will the fridge's AI become absorbed with browsing the appliance websites looking at newer models ;) and let my food spoil?
