Their is a global VFP based software shop in Houston. They distribute a chinese version of the product. They have a version that is DBF and a version that is SQL. I am going to visit with them next week - and I will ask how they did it.
I beleive that that UNICODE issue only came up when they converted one of their Chinese Client's system from DBF to SQL.
