Hi Renoir,

I agree with you, however, I do think it would be a nice contribution if some experienced VFP developers who are also comfortable with dotnet would do two small (very) apps that perform the same function in VFP and dotnet so VFP developers that are learning dotnet could see the comparison in accomplishing the same tasks. Of course it would have to involve massaging data since that is the typical app in VFP... I don't think that would be disloyal to VFP in anyway nor would it entice developers to switch to dotnet. However, those of us spending our nights and weekends trying to learn a new tool while continously working full-time in the other would find it a great contribution and helpful example.

I know that no one has the time to do such a thing as we are all working in this field for a living (well most of us are anyway) and most programmers are already working nights to keep up with their existing projects let alone working on extra ones for fun.
