I also use Stonefield Database Toolkit for this. In fact it is impossible to retrieve the index expression from the DBC; you can only get it from the CDX and only if the CDX is working. But geez SDT is very handy. I made a front end for it that my boss won't let me send you :( which I have the installation program call. So when we send out an update it checks all the tables automatically to see if the table structure/CDX structures need to be updated. Then it automatically updates the structure of the tables and indexes. It also has buttons to reindex, fix or update tables, and do some app specific junk. The fix routine also comes with SDT - I don't know how it compares to FoxFix though.
