Let's say the average garage sale item is $2, and can be sold for $4 on ebay. So the first week is 5 items. With the profits, you can buy 10 items the next week, etc. On the final week, David will have to buy somewhere between 400K and 500K items and then sell them. At 10 minutes per item to list it, handle inquiries, and pack it, that will amount to 5,000,000 minutes, or about 8,000 hours, which will be hard to pack into one week. <s>
