Are they your observations? I understand that this is a spin that David is trying to put on things. I'll say again that I have ZERO problems with rejection. If Dave thought it would not be a good fit for FT - and that was it - I would be fine with it. What he did was let is personal feelings be known on the matter and said very matter of factly that it was those personal reasons that prompted his decision. Now you may think that is a good way to drive editorial content. I for one do not. I also understand the willingness for many here to come to Dave's defense - because it is me. But just imagine if it was not me - and somebody else. Would you be as sympathetic to Dave's position then? You might say, "well, Dave would not do it to somebody else.." You could say that - but in the process, you would totally avoid the issue. Also, if you think it is OK for Dave to do it to me - because it is me - that is fine as well since the consequences of your own value system don't have consequences in the public sphere.

As for the BG question, there was no rejection involved. I got the answer I was looking for. He confirmed my suspicions...

As for the employment issue at MS, I accepeted that as well. Note that I brought that issue up with respect to what a noteable insider at MS said to me.

Finally ,these two instances have NOTHING to do the issue with FoxTalk. Rejection, I handle fine when it is based on reasoanble grounds.

IAC, I have been invited to submit the material...in a .NET context to somebody else....;) FT's loss is another pubs gain...
