Source Safe Control
>I never found it to be much of a double effort. Everything is a trade off. You check the files out of sourcesafe, modify them and test them in VFP until they're ready, then you check them in.
1 to 3 Developers - that's the model we usually follow. On large projects: The larger the project, the more chances of something slipping through. Some of the developers work on the same SSafe version between builds, other "get latest" regularly. 2 days before beta-build, there is a round of common testing with a freeze for everything but bugfixes. A PITA, but works.

Yupp, waiting there is a drag. That's the reason I just test in another instance of vfp and leave my "editing version" with a different caption to be found easily alone. Start it once in the morning, check mails and keep on running...
