Where do you use those? In German we use ö, ü and ä.

I think you would have to check what is available in different codepages. If you find one, mark the table for the corresponding codepage. This may make other characters unavailable, since VFP only works with single-byte codepages, meaning that each codepage can hold a maximum of 256 different characters.
