Sorry to keep after this, but you've stirred my curiosity. :-)
Do you think the Fox OLE-DB driver querying the DBFs on the seven different servers is more efficient in terms of network traffic than the VFP 8 app doing the same thing?
Or is the difference that they are not "doing the same thing," but accomplishing the same result in two different ways? In other words, what SQL statements are actually being processed through the OLE-DB driver? That's what I'm trying to get at in the other message.
