Thanks very much for your reply. Unfortunately, when I run the main prog from VFP I get the same error, but now lcMBXLoc is:

"C:\Program Files\Microsoft Visual FoxPro 7\mPLANMap.mbx"

where, of course, it isn't. When I run the .exe, II still get the same OLE error, but I don'r know where it thinks it is then.

Any more thoughts?
