>I have a VFP program that sits out on a network server. This program is used at an outside plant, and uses version 3.0. They have requested that I make table, form and coding changes, but I am relunctant due to the version difference (I use 6.0). I cannot access their program because of this version issue (throws an error and puts out a banner to request an upgrade before access). My questions are, if I make these changes and/or upgrade, what effect will it have on them? Will there be a syntax issue? What would be the best way to tackle this problem?

Kelly,
There were some enhancements to the language, particularly the addition of a number of functions (JUSTSTEM(), JUSTPATH(), etc.) that were previously in the Foxtools library. You might also want to check the "What's New" section of the VFP 6.0 help.
Outside of that, I'd simply remind you to make a backup of the project and classes used prior to trying the conversion.
